John Pappalardo
Chief Executive Officer
John has led National Hearing Care since July 2006. Since that time, John has steered the company on a significant growth path, taking the business from 39 clinics to over 100 clinics over a three and a half year period. Prior to joining National Hearing Care, John worked for a number of top ASX listed companies spanning industries including, logistics, mail services and building products manufacturing and distribution. He has leadership experience in business strategy, major structural and organisational change programs, startup ventures and mergers. Before joining NHC, John held the position of Commercial Director for Carter Holt Harvey Wood Products Australia and prior to this Chief Operating Officer for the Mail Services businesses of the Ausdoc Group.

Michael Smith
Chief Financial Officer
Michael is the Chief Financial Officer of National Hearing Care having joined the organisation in May 2006. Prior to joining NHC, Michael was the Chief Financial Officer and Group Accounting Manager at Adacel Technologies Limited, an ASX listed technology company, for 5 years. Prior to Adacel Technologies, Michael worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for approximately 10 years in the Assurance and Risk Management practices providing consulting services to some of Australia's largest corporations across a broad range of industries.

Craig Stevens
General Manager of Operations
Craig Stevens is the General Manager of Operations for National Hearing Care and has been with the company since September 2006. Craig has general management experience in Hospitals and the Health Care industry in Australia and the United Kingdom spanning 12 years. Prior to joining NHC Craig was the Operations and Business Development Manager for IMED Queensland, Australia’s largest private Radiology Company. Craig has also held senior management positions in Oncology and medical imaging.


John Boglis
Commercial Development Manager
John is the Commercial Development Manager of National Hearing Care having joined the organisation in October 2006. John is an accomplished manager who has worked across a number of industries including logistics, mail services, and health. He has extensive experience in Business Development and General Management. Prior to joining National Hearing Care, he was Business Development Manager with Australia Mailing Pty Ltd, where he developed a suite of sales tools and other development initiatives to increase market share. Prior to this he was Development Manager for Australian Home Care Services (part of the MS Society), where his responsibilities included re-branding AHCS, improving brand awareness, brand equity and client care programs.

Irene Kalligeris
Clinical Development Manager
Irene holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Monash University and a Masters in Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne. Irene is actively involved in her profession and currently holds the position of Victorian President of the Audiological Society of Australia (ASA).
Since joining the organisation in 2003, Irene has made a positive contribution to the lives of many people living with hearing loss. Irene is passionate about adult rehabilitation, hearing conservation, hearing aid technology and specialised in numerous areas including noise induced hearing loss and Tinnitus.
Irene has a strong belief in best clinical practice and has been instrumental in the development of clinical process, innovative clinical training and further education for NHC clinical staff, new graduates and audiology students across the major Australian universities.
